Here's something we don't see very often. This customer's heat wouldn't cut off, voltage readings were off. Usually this is because of something in the wiring or a bad relay; both checked out okay. Upon further inspection, tech found a spider had laid her egg sack directly in front of a sensor causing the sensor to tell the unit that it was cold outside, thus causing the emergency heat to kick in. Removed spider egg, performed systems check, temp dropped 10 degrees in 30 minute time span. 😱🕷😳
