We’re excited to see Pinehurst Sandmines featured by Hospitality Snapshots.

Located within Pinehurst Resort's newest expansion in Aberdeen, North Carolina, Pinehurst Sandmines brings together golf, hospitality, and a deep sense of place across 30,000 square feet of new amenity space. With architecture and interior design by Cline, the project includes the Golf Pro Shop, a halfway refreshment building at Hole 9, and Station 21, a full-service restaurant designed to welcome golfers, resort guests, and the surrounding community.

Inspired by the Sandhills landscape and the site’s industrial and railroad heritage, the design pairs heavy timber construction, reclaimed siding, exposed structural elements, and warm interior finishes to create spaces that feel relaxed, refined, and rooted in their surroundings.

A new edge for downtown Cary.

Located just a few blocks from Downtown Cary Park, Meridian East Chatham brings 220 residences, ground-floor retail, and layered amenity spaces to one of Cary’s fastest-growing areas. Designed for Northview Partners, the mixed-use community was shaped to strengthen the existing urban fabric—extending the streetscape, supporting walkability, and creating opportunities for connection.

Rather than reading as a single mass, the architecture is thoughtfully composed into three distinct volumes, creating a sense of rhythm and scale along East Chatham Street. Ground-floor retail, including a yoga studio, activates the pedestrian experience, while amenities like co-working, fitness, lounge, courtyard, and rooftop spaces support connected living.

We may not be aerospace engineers, but every now and then, we like to test the limits of paper, patience, and office pride.

In honor of National Paper Airplane Day, our Something Social crew brought a little friendly competition to the Charlotte and Raleigh offices with a paper airplane contest.

Because at Cline, even a quick break from the workday can turn into a design challenge. Especially when distance, accuracy, and bragging rights are involved.

Celebrating the grand opening of The Pines at Peach Road, a new 119-unit affordable housing community on the south side of Raleigh.

Designed to support families and everyday living, the community offers a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom homes along with shared amenities that create space for connection and community. Located along the future southern BRT corridor, it will continue to expand access and connectivity across the city.

Funded through 4% low-income housing tax credits administered by NCHFA, this project reflects a shared commitment to providing high-quality, long-term affordable housing.

We are grateful to partner with Oppidan and the full project team and proud to be part of a community that will make a lasting impact for residents.

JetZero, a pioneering startup in the aviation industry, sets its sight on the renovation of a 32,000 sf space into a comprehensive experiential Design Center in Long Beach, Calif., adjacent to the Long Beach Airport terminal. The result will be an experiential workplace that moves beyond the traditional aerospace office model, providing an innovative setting for employees and future stakeholders that reflects JetZero’s forward-thinking approach to flight. Working in close collaboration with JetZero, the project aims to support the company’s expanding team and evolving operational needs.
