Right so I've started at this very huge old Victorian house in Brighton. Ceilings are 15' high. Just as well I've got scaffolding platform. A little tip from experience. Keep the bolts semi fastened up before you fix up the platform otherwise you'll be battling for ages trying to get the hooks secured over the rungs . Don't be standing on it at the time mind!

Don't forget guys, with the colder weather coming up, make sure that your exterior paint jobs are done soon. Many paints won't cure properly if you apply them below 10°c

Latest project: building a play and swing frame for a friend's 5 year old. Pros: I get to test out the monkey bars and can guarantee if they can hold my weight, they'll be strong enough for your kids. Downside - my backside got stuck half way down the slide!

To save paint and all that washing out paint brushes every night, wrap them in cling film or a plastic bag where air can't get to them. Saves the hassle!
