The penalty for failure to stop for a school bus goes from a minimum $100 to $200 and if a second offense is committed in 5 years, the person’s license will be suspended for up to 1 year. The penalty for passing a school bus on the side that children enter and exit when the school bus displays a stop signal goes from a minimum of $200 to $400 and if a second offense is committed in 5 years, the person’s license can be suspended up to 2 years.

NOTICE - CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH ROAD CLOSURES. 🔜 🚧

Beginning Monday morning, June 13, 2022, Boynton Beach Blvd. will be closed west of Lawrence Rd. for an emergency sanitary sewer repair by the City of Boynton Beach. The road is scheduled to be remain closed until Sun., July 3, 2022. Lawrence Road will also be closed north and south of Boynton Beach Blvd, and is expected to re-open on Mon., August 1, 2022.

Motorists along Boynton Beach Blvd. should seek alternate routes on Old Boynton Rd. and Woolbright Rd.

Detour signs will be in place at Military Trail and Congress Ave. Local traffic will be permitted east of Military Trail and west of Congress Ave.
