Todays gardening delight ...

I popped to the loo at a very lovely customers house earlier, & noticed there was something on my back in the mirror ... it was this beautiful big moth!
Lovely customer & I were very excited as we'd not seen one before. They did an internet search & identified the beauty as an Eyed hawk moth 💜

The Tawny mining bee is a furry, gingery bee that can often be seen in parks and gardens during the springtime. Look for a volcano-like mound of earth in the lawn that marks the entrance to its burrow.
