Micronanics Laser Solutions Centre Micronanics is a privately owned, laser micromachining centre located at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on the Harwell Oxford Campus.

From the profiling of specialist flexible printed circuit boards or machining a 10 micron well in single crystal diamond to the manufacture of electrical probes much finer than a human hair, Micronanics is a dependable solutions provider.

Micronanics has purchased a new solid state laser from Coherent Inc. This will add to our existing portfolio of lasers and help reduce our delivery times to job shop and process development customers.

A Nikon MM-400 microscope has recently been added to our metrology capabilities. This has a high resolution camera, encoders and DIC (Differential interference contrast) as well as a range of ELWD objectives.

Micronanics has now expanded to aid its machine building, process development and R&D activities by taking an additional unit at Milton Park. The facility at Rutherford has also expanded to give enhanced CAD, meeting space and 3d printing facilities.
