Klassen Brothers Northern Ltd. is currently seeking a 3rd/4th yr apprentice or Journeyman Automotive Technician.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager this position will be based out of our shop in DeBolt, AB located 30mins east of Grande Prairie, AB.



DUTIES INCLUDE:

be a self starter that can perform scheduled maintenance as well as both minor and major repairs to our fleet of Ford Trucks ranging from F150 to F550
maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
completing all required computer entries after the job for machine repair history records
mentoring apprentices


REQUIREMENTS:

pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Journeyman Alberta Automotive Technician red seal or equivalent
Obtain CVIP license
Class 5 drivers abstract
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Must be extremely organized
Physically capable of performing labor intensive work
Be willing to work overtime
Be willing to work a shift schedule if required
Must have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Have your own tools
Welding experience is an asset
Reliable transportation that can get you to and from our shop

Klassen Brothers is seeking experienced gravel truck drivers and Lowbed drivers to haul heavy equipment.
Applicants should have experience driving on oilfield roads and loading/unloading heavy equipment.
We offer competitive wages for experienced lowbedders with the possibility of bonuses and benefits.
Safety tickets are an asset.
A urine drug test will be required.
Please have an up to date drivers abstract on hand.
We work through out north eastern B.C. And north western Alberta.
Our shop is located 1/2 hour east of Grande Prairie on highway 43.

Klassen Brothers was fortunate enough to participate in the protest rally in Grande Prairie, AB yesterday in Conjunction with many other cities across our great country including our Nations Capitol.

Our support of this protest was to show our prime minister that people, that feel the way we do are not a “fringe minority”. We are not antivax, but we are anti-mandates and feel that our governments overreach is causing irreparable harm to small businesses, peoples mental health, people’s ability to provide for their family, and the transportation of goods causing massive inflation and unneeded shortages across our country.

I want everyone to have the ability to make their own choices in everything including vaccination as we have always done and be supportive of each other in those choices. The policies that have been created in the last 2 years are causing the greatest divide in our societies history, and the longer this goes on the more people are being forced to pick sides. We just want the truth, and to be informed so we can make good decisions for our families and be supportive of our governments decisions. Instead, the information provided by our government and our national media does not add up to the measures being put in place for covid and the always looming potential threats surrounding it vs all of the things that are truly falling apart in out country trying to mitigate the maybes.

I just want to thank all of our employees, those that drove in the protest, those that were cheering on the highways and in the streets, as well as the people watching and sharing on social media.
