We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing and finishing high-quality interior trim work in residential and commercial settings. This role requires precision craftsmanship, the ability to read plans, and a commitment to delivering exceptional finished products. We are happy to train someone with no prior experience. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities:
* Install baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, coffered ceilings, built-ins, and other finish carpentry elements.
* Measure, cut, and assemble trim materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
* Install custom cabinetry, shelving, mantels, and architectural woodwork.
* Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in trim or finish carpentry.
* Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
* Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
* Ability to lift and carry construction materials and work on ladders when necessary.
* Strong work ethic, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with custom millwork and built-in cabinetry.
* Knowledge of residential remodeling and new construction.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
