After two wonderful years with Arborrowe, we’re saying goodbye to our amazing trainee (turned master of all), Sapphire, as she heads off to follow her dream of becoming a personal trainer 💪

Sapphire has been such a valued part of our team, always bringing a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in and give anything a go. She’s made a lasting impression not only on our crew, but on our customers as well.

While we’re sad to see her go, we couldn’t be prouder of her for chasing her passion. We have no doubt she’s going to absolutely thrive in this next chapter and make a real impact in the fitness industry.

Hi Portland 👋

We’re replacing seven steel transmission towers along the Heywood to Alcoa transmission line. This project is part of a multi-year upgrade to the 500kV line that powers the Portland Aluminium Smelter.

Stage 1 begins on Monday 24 November 2025 and is expected to be completed in early 2027.

It’s all part of our commitment to maintain modern, resilient infrastructure that delivers safe and reliable electricity to the region.

Starting next week, traffic management will be in place at the following locations:
• Wellington Road (Madeira Packet Road to Derril Road/Childers Street)
• Madeira Packet Road (Wellington Road to Alcoa entrance)
• Quarry Road

Not all locations will be under traffic management at the same time.

You may notice noise, dust and more trucks and heavy vehicles on the roads. We’ll do everything we can to minimise the impacts on the community.

🚧 The Unsung Heroes of the Road 🚧

They’re out there before the sun rises and long after it sets — rain, heat, or cold — making sure our roads stay safe and smooth for everyone.

These men and women in high-vis don’t just “stand on the road.” They’re the ones rebuilding what we drive on, guiding traffic through chaos, repairing damage, and keeping thousands safe every single day.

It’s hard, gritty work — early starts, long hours, loud machines, and constant risk — but they show up with pride, banter, and a sense of purpose that keeps Australia moving.

Next time you drive past those flashing arrows or see cones lining the lane, give them a nod (or better yet, slow down). You’re looking at real people doing real work — the backbone of our roadways.

🚨What a huge surprise being told ArborRowe had been nominated for a Safety Excellence Award within the Timber Industry for our Traffic Management Services.

This is a huge win for all Traffic Controllers around the district.
Traffic Control is something people normally relate to as a negative experience. So being acknowledged for our services in a positive light is a win for us with or without a trophy.

There is a lot that Traffic Controllers are reliable for and a lot they are never appreciated for either. They are there on-site to help get all the workers home safe to their families every night. They are the ones standing out there rain hail or shine helping to protect every day road users. They are the ones coping the backlash from a guy that’s having a bad day. I could keep going on but work on our roads wouldn’t be able to happen without them.

We wouldn’t have been nominated for this award without them too.
