These boys got the job done AND managed to have a little fun while doing it. That’s what I call working smarter… or at least making it look like you’re working! 🤣

Since you’re obviously so good at getting things done, you can come to my house next and sweep my floor. 🧹😂

Don’t worry, I’ll even supervise from the couch. Someone has to make sure you’re doing it right! 😜

Welllll… these two clowns managed to put in a full day today! 🤡🔧

First thing this morning, Rick decided to donate a little blood and cut his leg. Because apparently safety wasn’t on the schedule today. 😂

Then this afternoon, they discovered that the unmentioned HVAC guy before them had apparently left a LIVE WIRE just laying around. 😳⚡

Never trust the guy before you—check everything yourself! Right, Tiffany? 😬

Tiffany got her first electrical shock today! Probably one of the first of many, according to Rick. 😂 She said it didn’t hurt too bad, so we’re calling that a successful day in the electrical department. If you see Tiffany looking a little different, don’t stare… she’s just got that Doc Brown “Back to the Future” hair going on! ⚡🤣

And of course, Tiffany managed to get some camouflage grease on her face.

TIFF… IT’S GREEN, NOT WHITE! 😂😂

They also went to check out an excavator, where the customer informed them that humidity doesn’t like fat people.

Just to clarify… THAT WAS THE CUSTOMER WHO SAID THAT, NOT US! We’re simply reporting the facts. 🤣

Then there was the call this morning where they thought they were going to fix a unit… only to discover they needed another part.

So naturally: See you next week! 😂

And to finish off the day, they headed over to Oak Bay Take Out to have a look at a freezer and walk-in cooler.

Because let’s face it… you can’t run a restaurant if you can’t keep the food cold! 🥶🍔

So once again, VR Fresh Flow to the rescue! 🚨❄️

Rick cut himself, Tiffany got electrocuted, somebody got greased up, an excavator got inspected, a part got ordered, and a walk-in cooler got checked.

Just another perfectly normal day at VR Fresh Flow. 🤣🤣

These two and their shenanigans… I swear they’re going to need a babysitter before long! 😂🔧⚡

Deer Island Cool-Down 😎❄️

Another heat pump swap-out wrapped up for a very nice couple on Deer Island! 🏝️🔧

These two can now sit back, relax, and enjoy some nice, cool air as their old unit was only sitting there looking pretty producing nothing for them 😢

Enjoy that cool air, guys—you’ve earned it! ❄️😎

Although… don’t get too comfortable because it won’t be long before those chilly mornings sneak up on us! 🥶

One minute we’re sweating buckets installing heat pumps, and the next we’ll be fighting over who gets closest to the coffee pot! ☕😂

A Few Heat Pump Cleanings 😄

I can’t say it enough, folks—

Regular maintenance and heat pump cleaning improves efficiency, which in return helps with comfort and your pocketbook 💰

And let’s be honest… we could all use a little help with that these days!

Now, this job isn’t always done with beautiful scenery or spotless conditions. Sometimes it’s tight spaces, awkward angles, and yes… we do get a bit dirty along the way 😅

But hey, that’s all part of the fun!

You two are absolute legends—out there keeping systems running, staying (mostly) clean, and somehow still smiling through it all 😆

Another One in the Books 😂

Welllll, another HRV install in a brand-new build is all wrapped up! 🔧🏠

And who did we run into? Our favourite electricians, Nick and Kaden McFarlane! ⚡️

Kaden kicked the bucket today… 😂 Don’t worry, folks—it was only a bucket full of screws! 🪣🔩

Then there was Tiffany… who apparently decided the ground needed a hug and fell on her a…… 😂

And Rick? Well, Rick deserves an award today! 🏆 He managed to make it through the entire job without scraping himself, cutting himself, or electrocuting himself. Now THAT’S a successful day! 🤣

Another great job by the crew! 💪
HRV installed, new build breathing fresh, and nobody ended up in the ER. We’ll call that a win! 😂

Good job, guys! 👏🔧⚡️

🍫 Nothing Stops a Trane… Except a Compressor Burnout! 😂

You know the Trane saying: “Nothing stops a Trane!” Well… apparently a compressor burnout didn’t get the memo. 🤣

If you’re wondering what a Trane is, it’s a rooftop unit that provides the heat and cooling for the store below. And this one decided it was time to turn the chocolate bars into chocolate milk! 😳🍫🥛

They needed this fixed ASAP because nobody wants to walk into a store for a chocolate bar and leave with a glass of melted disappointment! 😂

So Tiffany and Rick were called in to save the day. 💪🔧 They got that rooftop beast back up and running, the store cooled down, the chocolate bars got back into good form, and the customers were happy!

Well… mostly everyone had a good day.

Rick, however, had a slightly more educational experience.

Let’s just say he reached for a spot he absolutely was not supposed to touch… and the unit gave him a quick little reminder in the form of a voltage “hello.” ⚡😬

Nothing serious—just enough to make him instantly more respectful of his surroundings and a little smarter about where his hands go on a live rooftop unit. You could say the Trane didn’t just cool the store… it also recalibrated Rick’s decision-making skills. 😂

Tiffany, of course, reminded him that:

> “If it looks suspicious and metallic on a rooftop unit… maybe don’t pet it.”

Happy customers. Happy store owners. Cool store. Good chocolate. Slightly wiser technician.

All’s well that ends well… especially when the chocolate bars survive and Rick learns without needing a second lesson! 🍫😂
