Thursday meeting, we will go over some tips for the show and then watch 2 videos on beginner basics and anatomy of Bonsai and view what a big show looks like, specifically the Pacific Bonsai Expo.

Tonight is our club meeting, David will be going through formal displays, how to display trees for the show, prep work, and things needed. Don't miss this meeting, a lot going on! David will have trees to sell, we will have two venders to sell pots from Japan, Josh will be there to sell some stands for the show and Elle will have a raffle for bonsai supplies. Be ready for these folks because it's a great opportunity to get trees and supplies that you are not going to find in a store locally.

Join us for our next Pikes Peak Bonsai Club meeting on Thursday, July 10th at Firehouse 14 (1875 Dublin Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918).

David will go over how to style and build pines - pruning decisions, pot choices, single flush versus double flush. David will also be bringing maples to sell.

6:00 pm is our setup time and social hour. The regular club meeting will start after, approximately 6:30 pm. Bring a plant if you would like to show or discuss it.

Whether you’re new to bonsai or a seasoned grower, there’s always something to learn!
