Located in the heart of Petaling Jaya, the new Rexit Berhad headquarters is a testament to the company’s standing as a Malaysian leader in digital insurance platforms and technology innovation. The spatial narrative is shaped by human-centric principles, prioritizing wellbeing, transparency, and collaborative synergy for a forward-thinking workforce.
The arrival experience is anchored by a dramatic reception area—an interplay of translucent glass block partitions and sculptural black forms, softened by a warm ambient glow. Here, visitors and staff are greeted by a material symphony: rich timber, tactile fabrics, and metallic accents converge to create a sense of clarity and welcome. The reception’s openness offers orientation while maintaining privacy, setting a refined tone for the journey within.
The office’s spatial organization, guided by a clear and rational plan, reflects Rexit’s commitment to agility and teamwork. The CEO, CFO, COO, and CTO suites are strategically arrayed for both privacy and connectivity, forming a leadership core that remains visually linked to collaborative zones. The boardroom emerges as a focal point—its bold geometric lines, oval illuminated ceiling, and bespoke conference table encapsulate the essence of decisive teamwork. Technological integration and acoustic refinement enable seamless communication, while expansive glazing visually connects the space to the city beyond.
Throughout the office, materiality is used both functionally and emotionally. Glass block walls diffuse natural light, fostering a sense of transparency without compromising acoustic comfort. Dark timber, warm metallic accents, and lush green elements infuse the environment with sophistication and calm. Flooring transitions—from chevron-patterned wood in hospitality zones to plush carpeting in work areas—distinguish spaces and enhance sensory comfort.
The plan is peppered with spaces that encourage connection and focus: flexible workstations, intimate alcove booths, and dedicated rooms for gratitude, positivity, and creativity. Multiple pantries and social hubs reinforce a hospitality-inspired ethos, supporting informal interactions and wellbeing.
Every element, from circulation paths to the placement of storage and amenities, is crafted with simplicity and inclusivity in mind. The result is a dynamic, future-ready workspace that not only meets the demands of a digital pioneer but also inspires a sense of belonging, creativity, and collective achievement for Rexit Berhad’s community.

This interior renovation project transforms a terrace house into a serene and elegant space. The design concept, "Cream Breeze," emphasizes a soothing palette of low-saturation, camel-toned hues, nestled between white and creamy latte. This color scheme exudes a delicate sweetness, imparting a serene charm that pervades the home.
The design seamlessly integrates creamy tones with natural materials such as stone, oak, decor cement, concrete, and tiles. This harmonious blend creates a tranquil atmosphere of timeless elegance, where soothing tones complement natural elements, achieving a balanced and inviting environment.
Throughout the home, the design harmonizes contemporary sophistication with subtle curves, adding graceful fluidity and a dynamic yet gentle ambiance. The result is a cohesive and calming space, perfect for relaxation and creativity.
The use of natural light enhances the textures and intricacies of the materials, adding depth and warmth to the interiors. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that each area within the home exudes understated elegance and comfort.

The adjacent consultation room, enclosed by a gradient glass wall, embodies SoMore’s approach to hair care: transparent, personalized, and always attuned to your individual needs.
Inside, the reception area captivates with a beautifully crafted counter as its centerpiece, a testament to the meticulous attention to detail found throughout the space. Natural textures, smooth wall finishes, and a calming color palette create a sense of serenity, inviting you to unwind and let go of the outside world. Luxurious dark carpet guides you along the corridors, leading you past subtle yet elegant design features like a mirror-finish column with a natural clay stone base – a harmonious blend of nature and modern sophistication.

Whether you seek a vibrant and energizing atmosphere or a space of serene calm, SoMore offers a setting tailored to your preferences. This corporate office renovation reimagines organizational identity through spatial intelligence, balancing corporate rigor with human-centered fluidity. Eschewing traditional austerity, the design materializes reliability through clean geometries, glass partitions, and a restrained palette of polished stone, brushed metal, and warm timber. Transparency governs the layout: dematerialized glazed walls dissolve departmental barriers, while a central open-office spine maintains visual connectivity through strategic acoustic buffers.
Spatial organization follows a 60-20-20 zoning ratio (private–semi-public–public), enhanced by workflow-optimized adjacencies. A double-height reception clad in monolithic stone and backlit glass serves as volumetric branding—imposing yet permeable. Collaborative hubs manifest as: writable-glass meeting rooms, soundproofed focus pods, and a leisure zone with organically shaped seating that counterpoints the architecture's rectilinear discipline. Executive suites, strategically positioned for oversight, employ frosted-glass sliders to modulate transparency gradients.
Material dialogues emphasize duality: terrazzo floors unify communal zones, while suspended acoustic clouds and felt panels temper ambient noise. A muted base palette (slate, navy, taupe) gains vitality through biophilic interventions—vertical planters and desk-integrated succulents that soften corporate edges.
Adaptive systems future-proof operations: mobile shelving reconfigures storage layouts, while server-room modular racking accommodates technological evolution. A 120-inch multifunction room screen serves dual purposes as presentation surface and all-hands communication portal.
Outcome: A tectonic equilibrium where light-permeated glass becomes allegory for operational clarity. Each intervention—from the communal pantry island to ergonomic task chairs—orchestrates an environment fostering trust, efficiency, and collective purpose through deliberate spatial storytelling. This renovation reinterprets the modern workspace as an architectural manifesto—a spatial dialogue where raw industrial honesty meets curated warmth. Guided by the Japanese Obeya Seido ethos, the design eliminates compartmentalization, favoring instead a fluid, open-plan ecosystem that thrives on daylight, adaptability, and human connection.
The architecture is defined by apertures: vertical shafts of light from skylights cascade through interfloor voids, while expansive glazing blurs the boundary between interior and exterior. A central staircase—a sculptural element with rounded edges and slender metal railings—serves as both circulation core and light conduit, its offset voids allowing sunlight to pe*****te deep into the ground floor. The façade, a horizontal plane of earthy stone and muted bronze accents, extends seamlessly into the interior, where a café merges workspace utility with social energy through warm-toned communal tables and pendant lighting that glows like a beacon after dusk.
Materiality oscillates between rugged and refined. Exposed concrete columns and steel beams contrast with terracotta tile accents, oiled walnut surfaces, and linen-upholstered modular seating. Workspaces prioritize clean lines and adaptability: detachable partitions enable acoustic privacy without visual isolation, while overhead cabling systems eliminate desk clutter. A standardized central core—a rectilinear mass punctuated by strategic openings—houses utilities while maintaining visual permeability, its raised platforms serving as informal hubs for collaboration or respite.
Ceiling design subtly demarcates zones—suspended acoustic panels float above discussion areas, while recessed lighting delineates focused workstations. Outside, a 70:30 hardscape-softscape ratio integrates stepped seating with low hedges, extending the interior’s tactile language into the landscape.

Much like its name, SoMore offers so much more than just the average hair care. Focused on a personalised trichological experience, SoMore offers various services to their customers within a beautifully crafted space. Prioritizing a sense of inner peace and mental relaxation, the concept of being one with nature was the inspiration for the overall design.
Incorporating nature into every aspect of the space, the different elements of a mountain range was adopted to reflect this. The general spaces of the reception and the corridor are lined with walls of stone-like colour and pattern. Coupled with carpeted floor of similar colour gradients, further tying in this concept in the entire space. These features are not merely decorative but many double as useful storage spaces such as the stone-coloured hair washing basins in each treatment room, as well as the large stone textured feature wall that is also a hidden storage cabinet.
Nature is similarly seen through the use of wood surfaces and hues in the reception desk as well as laminated walls of the treatment rooms. The overall colours used throughout the entire shop, including the curtains and various furniture also follow the earthy tones that invoke a sense of calm and cosiness. A variety of plants act as embellishments, adding a touch of life to the shop.
The element of the misty mountains came in perfectly for the design of the consultation room. Featuring a gradient glass wall, the room serves the purpose of a private space in a public setting through the translucent quality of the material. Absolutely fitting for a space where private and personalised conversations can take place between the service providers and their customers to offer the best of their tailor-made services.
While SoMore services may provide physical enhancement to their clients, at its heart, it seeks to provide also to the emotional enrichment of their clients.
