Today was another productive day for Hicks & Sons Lawncare. We completed a raised mulch bed installation with edging and fresh brown dyed mulch, along with servicing two additional large properties. Video before the mulch and such in comments!

Projects like these remind us how much we’ve grown, not only as a business but in our knowledge and craftsmanship. We’re grateful for the people who continue to support, teach, and help us improve along the way. Today was one of those days. The boys and their friends jumped right in helping move mulch, fill wheelbarrows, and get the yard looking right. Moments like this remind me that Hicks & Sons is about more than landscaping — it’s about teaching work ethic, responsibility, and pride in what you build together.

These boys are learning that hard work pays off, and that helping others take care of other people’s homes and their own is something to be proud of.

It’s pretty special watching them grow not just around the business, but into it and with friends.
