A stunning location but it’s fair to say the inside was in need of abit of work; and leaking heat like a sieve!
Newly insulated and plaster boarded ceilings upstairs got prepared and plastered, and then rendered, prepared and plastered the remodelled kitchen and utility downstairs. A lot of graft gone in from everyone, but the results are worth it.
Back in a few weeks to finish off around a new front door and some external making good around new windows.

πŸ”₯ 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Tough week all in all that one! Recovering from an ultramarathon last Saturday and then getting stuck straight into a project like that was never going to be easy. Very warm conditions mixed with floor to ceiling glass the last couple of days also kept us on our toes in the master bedroom. But as always, the work got done and now we can relax and recharge for a weekend before we go again next week.

Really enjoyed using that product and it does leave a nice finish, plus you can achieve some good effects with it if you want to. Haven’t used it again since. 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 πŸ”₯

🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 πŸ”₯ A small job slotted into the diary today for in Saundersfoot.

Originally the plan was to simply patch up around the fireplace, however after seeing the wall this morning the decision was made to re plaster the wall completely, as the customers had spent many hours filling and sanding the others and β€œweren’t as sprightly now as they were”. It wouldn’t of been right or proper to leave it as it was, cracked paint and very unsightly.

They were over the moon to see it done, and a nice finish was left ready for decorating and becoming the centre piece of the room.

The lath and plaster ceiling was a little unstable and painted in a lime wash paint, so over boarding was the option.

All walls prepared and re plastered and a thorough clean down as standard.

On to the next one.
