Our Story
Over 35 years of contracting in the Marine and Urban home improvement sphere, as Sanderson Marine and Wood works we have built a number of beautiful yachts that have taken their owners safely across oceans. From the beautiful Shearwater 39 Sea Lion to the strip plank and epoxy faired custom 31 Muira, 31 Raging Bull, a race winner and successful Cape Town to St Helena participant. During our 2005 to 2010 ‘ big project years’ In our Somerset West factories, we completed four, Prowler 48 ft catamarans, 20 ton power cats that crossed the Atlantic Ocean. These involved taking on massive projects that few Cape Town boat builders would ever consider. We pride ourselves on having a wide range of skills encompassing every skill and trade. We at Sanderson Marine and Wood works bring a wealth of experience to any project both in the Marine and urban Home construction and improvement industries.
