When we started this business our tiny garage office, never could we have imagined where we would be today.

Towards the end of last year we were awarded our biggest project to date, the Cape Racing Kenilworth Race Course. There were concerns over the size of our business and team and if we were up to the task.

So just how big was the task ?

4 floors of Pavilion.
500 Cameras housed on 22 NVRs
22 Facial Recognition Readers
102 Poles
76 Flood Lights
38 Horn Speakers
12 PC Work Stations
40 km of CAT6 Cable
60KVA of Back-up Power

All linked to our control room and monitored 24/7.

We knocked it out the park. Photos will never do it justice but here are a few snaps of the details. We are incredibly proud of our team and extremely grateful to them for the incredible work and long days on site.

TAG Smart Security are looking for technical people of different levels, from junior CCTV installers and technicians, through to senior CCTV system Architects and commissioners. Must have a good understanding of CCTV IP systems and Networking, and be prepared to learn and be trained in our methodology and systems.

Requirements:

Experience in installation and maintenance of IP CCTV systems
- Strong computer skills
- Strong networking and PC networking skills
- IP configuration
- PSIRA registered
- Team work and planning
- Assist and educate customers and other team members.
- Ability to work independently
- Possess a level of problem solving and fault-finding skills.
- Maintain a clean Vehicle and have a Valid Driver’s licence.
- Knowledge and experience in installation and configuration of IP CCTV and Access control systems
- Ensure that all installations are neat and in line with the by-laws
- 3 years experience is preferable
Candidates will be required to demonstrate their skills.
