Aequorea by Vincent Callebaut Architectures, Paris. Built to house 20,000 people with twisted towers going 500m2 deep. This self-sustaining town of the future will have 10,000 homes, aquaponic farms, science labs and floating mangroves. The self sufficient ecosystem will fix 2,500 tons of carbon dioxide per cubic kilometre.

I've just written an article on John Lautner who has to be my favourite architect. He designed over 200 iconic modern homes which tick all the boxes when it comes to futuristic and space age architecture. Many of his buildings were backdrops for movies - Diamonds are Forever - James Bond, The Big Lebowski, Body Double and Lethal Weapon 2 to name a few.
