We took these ventilation ‘air pockets’ and turned them into a high-end architectural feature. What was once just a gap for a breeze is now a functional, modern showcase.

​The Specs:
​Shelf Upgrade: Swapped out the short, basic pine for longer, custom-cut Oak. Stained and sealed to handle the elements and bring out that premium grain.

​The Backdrop: Custom-machined MDF slatted inserts, finished in Matte Black spray to match the rugged, modern aesthetic of the outdoor entertainment area.

We’re still alive! (Mostly). 🪵🔨

​Sorry for the radio silence—the backlog at Rustic Rudi Co. was starting to look more like a forest than a to-do list, so we’ve been heads-down and sawdust-deep for a while.

​Check out this bench revival. It went from looking like a sun-burnt relic to this gleaming beauty. Those geometric lines are finally popping again instead of just crying for help.

​This was just the warmup, though. We’ve got a massive 3m table taking up half the workshop next, and it’s about to get a serious glow-up.

​We just finished this custom stand for a small saltwater setup. It’s 100% pine, but you’d hardly guess it at a glance. We gave it a sleek, premium finish that makes it look like it costs double what it actually does.
