🏗️ Construction Mentorship Programme | Day 1 Highlights👷🏾♀️👷🏾♂️
Khubonye Operations was honoured to be among the 18 construction MSMEs selected to participate in the Construction Mentorship Programme hosted by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator.
Our first day was an incredible learning experience at Raubex Construction's N4 Project in Nelspruit. The programme began with a comprehensive health and safety induction, where the Raubex team introduced us to site protocols, project expectations, and the importance of maintaining the highest construction standards before entering the site.
We then participated in an extensive guided site tour led by Mr. Jason Katz, who generously shared his knowledge and practical experience. He explained the engineering principles behind various construction methods, answered our questions, and provided valuable insights into modern infrastructure development.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to observe:
✅ Bridge construction projects
✅ The N4 Route development works
✅ Various completed and ongoing infrastructure projects
✅ The remarkable Mara Railway Progress Project at Crocodile Gorge, where two bridges and a railway section were successfully integrated within an ambitious 10-day construction period.
The day concluded with an informative boardroom session, where the Raubex leadership team shared valuable knowledge on their organisational structure, construction management systems, project ex*****on best practices, and future collaboration opportunities available to construction MSMEs.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator, Raubex Construction, and Mr. Jason Katz for investing in the growth and development of emerging construction businesses. At Khubonye Operations, we believe that continuous learning, mentorship, and collaboration are essential to building a stronger and more sustainable construction industry.
