LACPM (PTY) LTD abbreviated for Luqmaan Adonis Construction Project Management is a company built on the legacy of Mogamad Tayb Adonis the father and mentor of LACPM Managing Director, Luqmaan Adonis. Luqmaan was exposed to the Informal sector of the construction industry in 1991 during his high school holidays. His late dad, Mogamad Tayb Adonis, together with his mom, owned a labour only bricklay
ing sub-contractor firm called, MTA Builders & Renovators. His late Dad was hands on and always worked hard on the sites by assisting the main contractor in his duties of works establishment and setting out. He would monitor quality by means of involving himself in the actual laying of bricks at key times during the working day. Qualified as a bricklayer, with artisan certification and a history of service satisfaction was the recipe for the ongoing contract offering for MTA. All the operations time measurement issues and cost capturing was done by his mother, who was not afraid of mediation between parties with extremely difficult listening skills, however the accuracy in the way their records were captured, even though at times on a matchbox or cigarette packet was all that was needed to resolve labour remuneration matters. Tayb Adonis was a tragedy and came at a time when Luqmaan Adonis was appointed as the Construction Project Manager in the Timbuktu Library Restoration Project, which was a gift from the South African President to the Malian Government – It also initiated the emergence of LACPM which was legally registered in April 2019. SHAREHOLDING
LACPM is a black owned entity with 70% shares held by Luqmaan Adonis and 30% by Lawrina Meyer.
