Frexus®- A Powerful Disinfectant for Hard Surfaces
Frexus® granular contains calcium hypochlorite as an active ingredient, proven effective against harmful micro-organisms.

With SANS 1853 certification along with NRCS approval, Frexus® can be used as a disinfectant in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry.

Where can Frexus® be used?

A chlorine solution prepared with Frexus® can be used to disinfect inanimate surfaces and objects such as:

Roads, pavements and sidewalks
Table tops and working surfaces, shelves and racks
Equipment and utensils
How to use Frexus®?

With the use of any disinfectant product, there are two factors that determine how effective the disinfection will be:

The concentration of the disinfectant when it is applied
Contact time – how long the disinfectant is contact with the surface it is applied to.
Instructions on the labels of all Frexus® products indicate how to prepare different concentrations of chlorine solutions and how long they should be applied to surfaces in order to kill various micro-organisms.

For hard surface disinfection, we recommend a 0.1% (1000 ppm) available chlorine solution with a contact time of at least 3 minutes.
