The first pit stop for ‘Roam’ 📔

For last week’s First Thursday train, we activated our train-stop shop and The Corner Store () and raised (a couple of) glasses to House and Leisure’s () recently launched winter edition, Roam. 🚃🍾

Joined by a generous mix of friends, collaborators, industry folk, and curious pedestrians, our corner quickly transformed into a buzz of cheer... Chatting and cheersing every story, every page, and everything ‘Roam’. 💛

For those who missed our gathering, fear not. 👉 Our LOOKBOOK book nook is always open – during trading hours, of course – and stocked with the latest (& some archive) editions of House and Leisure. 📓📔📒📙

Lately, the workshop has been full.

Orders moving across cutting tables. New colours arriving. Corporate projects leaving the studio. Conversations about what comes next.

It’s easy to share the finished product and forget to share the people behind it.

So, hello.

We’re Kim and Natalie, founders of Joinery. Every bag, notebook and collaboration starts here in the Cape Winelands, with a simple belief: good design should tread lightly and last a long time.
