How do I know my BMWs FRM3 needs to be repaired?
As we mentioned, the most common sign of a faulty FRM3 is a loss of power windows and/or no indicator lights. However, when in need of an FRM3 repair, its important to understand what is, and what isnt, a sign of a defective BMW footwell module.
When your FRM3 has failed, you might find the vehicles headlights are stuck on or simply wont turn off. When these control modules fail, they restrict the ability to toggle between headlight settings, including being able to activate full beam. Its likely other areas of exterior lighting will be affected too, like experiencing a loss of tail lights or side lights.
However, its important to understand that the FRM3 has no responsibility for windscreen wipers or central locking and these are not signs your BMW footwell module needs to be repaired.
