to do building and production
facility maintenance. To move or
supply office electrical supply.

Key Performance Areas
Breakdown repairs on
equipment.

Preventative maintenance on
equipment.

Equipment safety.

Participation in safety
programme.

Occasional driving for
ex*****on of maintenance
tasks.

Standby after hours
Critical Skills
Operation of numerically
controlled machines.

Operation of overhead cranes.

In-house safety training.
Maintenance of electrical
switchgear.

Machine maintenance.
H.T. Switching.

Qualifications
N3 Electrical with wiring
license.
HT/HV Switching course.
Trade Test as Electrician.
Five years in building and
plant maintenance.
Wiremen’s license.
Ability to do electrical
and electronic fault
finding on production
equipment.
Ability to replace
electrical and
electronic
components.
