We specialize in the designing of entertainment areas

Our original company started in 1982 as Alpha Paving and Thatchers and later on sister company called "Rock Build", has been building thatched roofs, additions and pools since 1985

We have designed and built speculation houses as well as a million rand restaurant with thatch roof

Thatched Roofs offer a superb insulation (warm in winter, cool in summer)

Cape Reed is used on the inside to create a smooth finish and is also dust-free and more fire resistant

Highveld Grass (yellow grass) is used on the outside

Gum poles are C.C.A. treated in compliance with SABS Bureau of Standards and varnished

We build thatch roofs for long lasting durability and ensure that they are water proof

Guaranteed craftsmanship using the latest thatching techniques

Rethatching using new and old grass to ensure cost effectiveness and to extend longevity and insulation

Repairs to existing thatch showing signs of wear & tear that may develop into a serious leakage problem
