KINGPIN CONTRACTORS was established in 1989 and is a fully owned Zimbabwean company, whose directors are both Zimbabwean citizens. The headquarters are situated at Lot 2, Veredale Estates, Chirundu Road, Chinhoyi, where we have a fully stocked and equipped workshop. Shane Vice (Managing Director), is a fully qualified, Caterpillar trained, mechanic with Barlows, since 1987, who also has experience

on numerous types of machinery, hence the reason the company owns various makes of plant and equipment. We have a varied fleet of Plant and Equipment, ranging from Dozers, Excavators, Graders, Tippers, Trucks and Lowbed, Tractors, Combine, Planters, Sprayers, and land prep tools. We currently employ qualified Mechanics and fully trained machine Operators together with Administration and Accounting Personnel. Our current Plant Hire Rates can vary from time to time according to type of operation/s required, costs of spares, and current applicable labour rates according to NEC CIZ statutory regulations. Since the inception of the Company, we have been successful in various Tenders, these include a three year contract with Triangle Estates (Tongaart/Hulett) where we were opening up lands, dozing, ripping, excavating and earthmoving, and land prep for sugar cane replant. We were one of two main contractors on the Biri Dam project, (1,77 million m3 compacted), largest earth wall dam in Zimbabwe. We were responsible for the rehabilitation of the main Inchope/Gorengoza Road in Mozambique, the building of the Seke Dam, excavation works at Sengwa Coal, local Council road works, and in excess of 33 various small to large dams throughout Zimbabwe, including the Zonwe Dam in the Vumba. We were also the main Contractor in excavating and securing the harbour at Marineland in Kariba, Lake Harvest, Innscor Padenga Croc farm, Kariba. Kingpin Contractors was also responsible for the excavation of pile driving, removal of waste material, at the Joina Centre, Harare City Centre. Kingpin was engaged to undertake the demolition, land clearing and preparation and levelling of land to rebuild on the Kariba Breezes project, in Kariba. We have also recently completed a further contract at Chisumbanje Estates (Green Fuel), where we were doing land levelling, storage dams, canals and road works. We have also contracted to a number of mining projects, small and large scale, including the Great D**e, Darwendale, ZIMPLATS, Ngezi, and Shangani Nickel Mine – Isabella. We also offer a full season agricultural scheme, ranging from land clearing, land prep, planting, spraying, combining and transport. KINGPIN CONTRACTORS (PRIVATE) LIMITED
