Good morning Graphic Designers Zimbabwe. My name is Zibusiso, I'm part of a team that is hosting the first edition of tbe Icebo Design Expo on the 14th of April here in Bulawayo. Basically the we're hoping to challenge businesses to raise the bar when it comes to branding their businesses,services and products. We'll have speakers sharing on the different areas of branding so brand strategy, creative design,photography,marketing strategy,printing and finally export prepadness as the goal is the make our branding and packaging up to international standard. We also want to show businesses the value of properly investing in all the above areas. The expo will also have an exhibition of graphic designers, photographers and videographers' work both physical and on a screen. We've issued a callout to creatives who would love to exhibit. I was wondering if you can share the call out on your Graphic designers Zimbabwe page, so that it reaches as many people as possible? It would be much appreaciated. The even

At ATypI 2021 All Over, December 2–4, Taurai Valerie Mtake, a visual communicator from Zimbabwe, will examine the indigenous knowledge of Nguni Symbol Writing and how it may be revived in South African contemporary visual practice and passed on to the next generations. The aim of this project is to promote awareness of indigenous visual culture, making the symbolic vocabulary of their ancestors available to today’s young generations as a creative tool to develop their skills and express themselves as Afrikans while understanding their place in a great cultural history.
