Work in Progress Image of one of our ongoing architectural projects in Mombasa, Kenya. The client wanted to significantly extend and completely reconfigure his existant home in order to create a property that suited the changing lifestyle needs of himself and his extended family. The challenge is to enable what was previously a typical 1980's maisonette to become a much more family-centric design, complete of all contemporary necessities such as walk-in closets, ensuite bathrooms, stunning kitchen, open plan areas, rooftop entertainment lounge, and external shaded lounging areas.

Sourcing a few key ethnic items for a luxury 8-bedroom boutique hotel interior in Kenya. The concept being that each individually designed room in this “home from home hotel” will have items of unique interest and be reminiscent of the home of a well-travelled, sophisticated gentleman or better to say, adventurer. No standard hotel rooms here!

Exploring Plantation Homes in Mauritius, October 2019. The property seen in the images is Demeure Saint Antoine, built by Edmond de Chazal in 1830 whom Didier Gelle and his wife kindly took us to see. A real jewel of Mauritian heritage.
