We are seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Base Surveyor to join our client's operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in offshore survey activities and regional project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Execute and support positioning, geophysical, geotechnical, and ROV survey operations.
β’ Assist in the preparation, review, and implementation of survey procedures and project documentation.
β’ Support vessel and barge mobilizations and demobilizations, ensuring all survey equipment is installed, tested, and operational.
β’ Conduct onshore and offshore calibrations, system checks, and sea trials in accordance with project specifications.
β’ Ensure all survey activities are carried out in compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and HSE policies.
β’ Maintain accurate survey records, logs, and reporting documentation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
β’ Bachelorβs degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Hydrography, or a related discipline.
β’ Minimum of 5+ years of relevant offshore survey experience and/or in a similar role.
β’ Proven hands-on experience with positioning systems, geophysical and geotechnical surveys, and ROV support operations.
β’ Demonstrated experience in vessel/barge mobilization and onshore/offshore calibration activities.
β’ Good command of land survey equipment and techniques for both onshore and offshore calibration activities.
β’ Prior project approval and/or direct working experience with ADNOC and/or Saudi Aramco is highly preferred.
β’ Strong knowledge of industry-standard survey software and equipment.
β’ Good understanding of offshore HSE standards and best practices.
β’ Ability to work in a team-oriented, multicultural environment under offshore conditions.
β’ Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
Contract Terms:
β’ Initial contract duration of 2-3 months.
β’ Subject to satisfactory performance and client approval, the role will transition into a permanent position.
