snkh Hello, we are snkh. an architectural practice based in Yerevan. We dream, we design, we build snkh. Today snkh. We believe in teamwork, shared values and ideas.

began as a husband-and-wife architectural duo of Ashot and Armine Snkhchyan based in their home studio. is an enthusiastic team of 6 young professionals which creates spaces that matter. All the projects we create are a result of collaborative process and dialogue. With every project, whether it is a small interior or a residential building, we challenge ourselves to push the boundaries further, t

o explore the unknown and to come up with something fresh everytime. Curiosity and the spirit of experimentation are the main driving forces here at snkh. During the past 5 years our work has got the attention of international professional media for multiple times. Our projects were published on many well known platforms such as ArchDaily, Architizer, Designboom, Archello, Metalocus, Dezeen and many others. We constantly participate in international competitions, one of which gave us an opportunity to design and build “Garage Screen” summer cinema for the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow.

We approached 5th International Print Biennale Yerevan exhibition design as a pure suprematist composition, working with the given conditions of the space, without masking its imperfections. It’s striking how the poor physical state of the art center does not diminish the beauty of its interior. There is a particular pleasure in engaging with a pure space, thinking through its geometry and the logic of form-making.
