🇬🇧 During the first month of the 2022 blockade, Regina and her husband Hrayr learned they were pregnant with their long-awaited daughter. Months of hunger, no fuel, and hours-long bread lines followed. Sara was born a month early, weakened by stress and hunger.
Weeks later, war resumed and Artsakh's population was forced to leave entirely. With no milk for their newborn, the family of five crossed the border after a day and a half on the road with just one bottle of water.
After a year in Vayk, they settled in Goris — close to home, with clean air and a fresh start. With a housing certificate from the Armenian government and gifts of furniture from our donors, they rebuilt their lives.
Today the boys are back in school, participating in sports and art; Hrayr is a police officer again. Cheerful little Sara starts kindergarten this September 💛
🇦🇲 2022 թվականի շրջափակման առաջին ամսվա ընթացքում Ռեգինան և ամուսինը՝ Հրայրը, իմացան, որ երկար սպասված դստերն են ունենալու։ Հաջորդեցին ամիսներ՝ սովի, վառելիքի բացակայության և հացի հերթերում անցկացրած երկար ժամերի։ Սառան ծնվեց նախատեսվածից մեկ ամիս շուտ։
Ընդամենը մի քանի շաբաթ անց պատերազմը վերսկսվեց, և Արցախի բնակչությունը ստիպված եղավ լքել հայրենիքը։ Նորածնի համար անգամ կաթ չկար։ Հինգ հոգուց բաղկացած ընտանիքը մեկուկես օր ճանապարհին լինելուց հետո հատեց սահմանը։
Վայքում մեկ տարի ապրելուց հետո նրանք հաստատվեցին Գորիսում՝ հայրենիքին հնարավորինս մոտ ու նոր կյանք սկսելու հույսով։ Պետական սերտիֆիկատի և մեր դոնորների նվիրաբերած կահույքի շնորհիվ ընտանիքը նոր տուն ունեցավ ու կարողացավ նորից ոտքի կանգնել։
Այսօր տղաները կրկին դպրոց են հաճախում, զբաղվում սպորտով և արվեստով, իսկ Հրայրն աշխատում է որպես ոստիկան։ Ժպտերես փոքրիկ Սառան այս սեպտեմբերին առաջին անգամ կգնա մանկապարտեզ։ 💛
