Architecture office Desde 1987 Víctor Olmos y Gloria Ochoa comparten estudio de arquitectura.

En el año 2000 el estudio pasa a llamarse Olmos Ochoa Arquitectos y se constituye como Sociedad Limitada. El estudio ha sido galardonado con varios premios en concursos y ha realizado algunos destacados edificios, que han aparecido en varias publicaciones y exposiciones. A lo largo de su trayectoria profesional han colaborado con otras oficinas de arquitectura: Enrique Bardají (Madrid, 1987-1992),

Víctor López Cotelo (Madrid, 1986-2006), Ralph and Doris Thut (Munich, 1993), Juan Barrado (Madrid, 1994-1995) y con la oficina internacional austriaca Baumschlager Eberle (2007-2012). Olmos Ochoa Arquitectos trabaja en colaboración permanente con una serie de consultorías especializadas e independientes, con los que trabaja en la definición de las estructuras y las instalaciones, así como en los estudios de costes y mediciones. Por el estudio han pasado muchos colaboradores, arquitectos o estudiantes de arquitectura, con funciones y trabajos diferentes, todos los cuales han aportado su trabajo y esfuerzo en los proyectos y obras, y sobre todo nos han dejado un inolvidable recuerdo de su paso.

Die Wochenzeitschrift Leben und Wohnen (VN) widmet unserem ersten gebauten Projekt in Schaan ( FL) einen Sonderbericht.
Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bei Verena Konrad, Direktorin des VAI ( Vorarlberger Architektur Institut), bedanken, die ein besonderes Interesse an diesem Projekt gezeigt hat. Die Interpretation von Zwischen- Räume und die Innen und Außen Räume die sich verschmelzen, die unsere Architektur so sehr auszeichnen, sind die Hauptkonzepte die dieses Haus definieren. Verenas Text fängt die Details und Feinheiten dieses Projekt ein.
Vielen Dank auch an Petra Rainer fur ihre wunderbaren winterlichen Fotos! Und natürlich an unsere BauherrInnen und Freunde, Eva und Nic Reithner für ihren Impuls und Vertrauen.

This Christmas we had the opportunity to revisiting the house that we built in an old agricultural complex in Cabanillas de la Sierra (2012), 50km north from Madrid. We love how it looks. Motivated by the Thesis, recently defended at the ETSAM by our friend Carlos Asensio Wandosell, whose title is "La arquitectura de la Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm, de la objetividad a la revolución" (The architecture of the Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm, from objectivity to revolution), we travelled to the german medieval city of Ulm to pay a visit to the fantastic building by the swiss architect Max Bill. We were highly impressed by the naturalness of how it stands on the site, by the intensity of the inner and outer routes, by the simplicity of the constructive details, by the logical selection of materials and colours and the beautiful impact of the natural light. We walked through the building realizing how this architecture has influenced in subsequent projects that nowadays are our main references
