Wettbewerb „Wood Vision Space, Weiz“, Nachrücker
Das Gebäude positioniert sich als fünfter Baukörper des Innovationszentrum W.E.I.Z. in klar strukturierter Ausbildung und spannt im Eingangsbereich einen Campus mit Begegnungszone, Verweil- und Austauschmöglichkeit, gemeinsam mit dem Gebäude W.E.I.Z. 4, auf. Vom zweigeschossigen Foyer erreicht man rasch die großzügige Holzbearbeitungshalle als auch die darüberliegenden Bürogeschosse. Das Holz-Skelett-Tragwerk zielt auf eine möglichst maximierte Flexibilität des Grundrisses im Hallengeschoß sowie den Bürogeschoßen ab, somit die Fassade frei bespielbar und auch von außen in den Wood Vision Space Einblick gegeben wird.

The building is positioned as the fifth structure of the W.E.I.Z. innovation centre in the form of a clear design, and together with the fourth W.E.I.Z. building, forms a campus in the entrance area with a meeting zone, a place to linger and exchange ideas. The spacious woodworking hall and the office floors above can easily be reached from the two-storey foyer. The timber-skeleton structure aims to maximize the flexibility of the floor plan on the hall floor as well as the office floors, while the façade can be freely used and provides views of the Wood Vision Space from the outside.
