The stand for Terre Ritrovate aims to bring to light not only a selection of local products, but a story that speaks of a long-forgotten territory in Sardinia Island: Gerrei.
We therefore asked ourselves how to involve the visitors in this story and therefore we thought of an inclusive space, open as much as possible to the outside, but at the same time creating a warm, intimate and unusual atmosphere.
This stand therefore marks a small moment of passage within the Fair, where the dense weave of fir wood slats envelops and invites curious visitors to enter. In a holistic way this structure acts as a cover and becomes an exhibitor for the products, displayed along the side walls. Inside the same a large screen will show the history of the producers and will accompany you for the entire duration of the Fair.
The structure rests on a carpet of cork, a typical Sardinian material, which also wraps around the counter. It emerges in the central part and stands out as a monolithic object on which the products will be offered and sometimes used as a work surface for events and workshops.
A storage space is foreseen in the lower parts of the structure which will be carefully closed by brushed fabrics, the same ones on which the captions of the various selected products will be printed.
A small temple therefore made of three ingredients: Identity, Travel and Memory, where the visitor's experience is stimulated through all the senses.
