MAPLAN Injection Intelligence MAPLAN is one of the world leading suppliers of elastomer injection moulding machines.

MAPLAN machines and systems offer European quality at an excellent price/performance relation. The development, construction and assembly of the machines take place in the root plant of the innovative Austrian company MAPLAN in Ternitz / Austria. MAPLAN elastomer injection moulding machines are used for the production of technical moulded elastomer parts, from small O-rings and rubber/metal parts, liquid silicone rubber parts for use in medical technology to large silicone insulators for the electrical engineering industry and ultra-heavy duty rubber/metal gaskets for the oil industry. MAPLAN machines are used worldwide in all branches like automotive industry, sealing technology, technical moulded parts, white– and household goods, railway and rail technology, oilfield and mining technology as well as energy production and distribution.

🗺️A week of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and team spirit. 🔧

Last week, our international service teams came together at MAPLAN headquarters in Kottingbrunn for the Service Team Workshop.
The program covered a broad range of technical and service-related topics, including Customer Service, digital service tools, C7 control systems, cybersecurity, network connectivity, hydraulic systems, tooling and cold runner technologies, quality optimization, as well as process engineering topics such as production start-up and start-up preparation.
The goal was to deepen technical expertise, exchange practical experience, and further strengthen our global service organization. 💪🏻

Of course, the workshop was about more than technical know-how. Reconnecting with colleagues from around the world, sharing experiences, and building personal relationships made the week especially valuable.

🎉 A warm welcome to Shawn Durbin, who joins MAPLAN USA as Technical Sales Manager!

Shawn brings more than three decades of experience in rubber manufacturing, tooling, engineering, and process development.

Having spent his career on the manufacturing side, he knows firsthand the challenges rubber processors face every day, from process optimization and troubleshooting to quality improvement and productivity gains. This practical experience makes him a strong partner for our customers as they work to improve performance and efficiency in their operations.
