Not every concrete floor is as straightforward as it looks.

Existing concrete can be very unpredictable, and you don’t truly know what you’re working with until the process begins. The condition of the floor can have a huge impact on what’s possible and how closely we can achieve the client’s vision.

This project came with plenty of challenges some were:
• Previous vinyl flooring
• Multiple concrete pours with different hardness
• A 15–30mm topping layer throughout the shop
• A tight budget
• Night works while the shop continued trading throughout the day
• inexperienced contractor starting the job prior to us🤯

Our client wanted full stone exposure, but unfortunately, the condition of the existing floor and budget made this unachievable.

There were long days, late nights and plenty of problem solving to get the best possible result.

People see the finished floor. They don’t always see what it takes to get there.

In the end, overcoming the challenges and delivering a result everyone is happy with makes it all worth it 👊
