As we approach the 9th anniversary of the Grenfell Tower Fire in The UK, we take a moment to reflect on the lives lost, the families affected, and the lessons the Fire Protection industry must never forget.
Grenfell was not simply the result of one failure. Investigations identified multiple issues relating to building safety, fire systems, compartmentation, maintenance, inspections, reporting and emergency preparedness.
For those of us in the fire protection industry, it serves as a powerful reminder that the work we carry out every day matters.

Every compartmentation defect reported.
Every emergency plan relevant to its building.
Every occupant aware of emergency procedures.
