🛠️ Had to check out the Stick Shed – and wow. 🛠️

As a roofer, I’ve seen my fair share of sheds, but nothing like this beast out in Murtoa. Built back in the '40s, it’s basically a cathedral made out of timber and tin – 560+ bush poles holding up a roof that feels like it goes on forever.

They knocked it together in just a few months during WWII to store all the wheat that couldn’t be shipped. It’s rough, raw, and absolutely massive – just good, honest Aussie craftsmanship at its best.

If you’re ever out Wimmera way, this one’s worth a stop. Makes you appreciate the old-school building skills. No prefab here – just grit, timber, and a whole lotta roof.
