Springwood Estate's new shopping precinct (Gawler East).

A light reveal completed by Rampart’s mobile surface profiling services.

A silica-free inert garnet was used as an environmentally sound solution vs harsh acid wash.

All outside walkways at the new shopping precinct was completed with an abrasive etch and sealed with a deep penetrating sealant.

Rampart’s “AluGuard-PFP” ……… South Australia’s 1st - 10 Year Anti-Corrosion Warranty Metal Coating for coastal environments.

AluGuard-PFP was generally reserved for Oil & Gas critical components and the Defence Industry, now available for commercial building applications.

There is no superior product in the Global market that offers better protection than AluGuard-PFP.

Westfield required an anti-corrosion solution to combat accelerated corrosion whilst offering an extended service life. Due to the atmospheric conditions this asset was exposed to an accelerated rate of corrosion. AluGuard-PFP was specified to meet the stringent requirements.

Here’s a before and after of a driveway job in Torrens Park for Zagari Concrete.

This time it was a darker colour concrete which contrasted beautifully with the aggregate.

This finish was achieved through lightly abrasive blasting the concrete with an inert garnet that is safe for nearby garden-beds.

Rust removal and prevention job in Goolwa with before and after photos.

This 2 year old build is within 100m of the beach which leads to accelerated atmospheric corrosion which can be seen on the structural beams at the front of the house.

The affected beams had to be sand-blasted to remove any rust and paint to leave a clean and rough surface for thermal spray to adhere to.

The beams are then coated in 85/15 Zinc Aluminium using our mobile unit. (For more info please visit our website)

Finally, the beams were painted to match the original colour.

This coating will last for at least 10 years meaning the customer won’t have to constantly repaint the areas or deal with the worry of replacing the beams if the problem was left unattended.

This mildly exposed aggregate finish is achieved through lightly abrasive blasting the concrete.

The blast media we use is inert, safe for the environment and has no negative impact in garden beds.

The customer contacted us urgently asking for a quick sandblast of a skip bin trailer. They asked for just the outer frame and hydraulic arms to be blasted so it could be painted the next day.

Our mobile rig is perfect for these situations. All it requires is enough space to park the trailer and a tap within 20m. (The rig does have its own water tank if a tap is not available)

We mix a rust inhibitor into the water to ensure the item being blasted can remain rust free for up to 3 days if kept undercover.

The customer contacted us explaining that the structural beams in their shed had rusted out in less than 2 years due to being in a coastal area.

This occurs because corrosion is accelerated in areas with high salt content in the air paired with humidity.

They decided to replace the shed and sent us the new beams.

We coated the beams with our 85-15 Zinc/Aluminium coating. This protects the steel from rust for 15+ years in coastal areas with a 10 year anti-corrosion warranty.

This was done in our facility however we have a mobile plant for onsite applications.

Quick and easy job at a beautiful new build in the Adelaide Hills. Customer requested a mild terrazzo finish on the concrete steps to match the rest of the house.
