We are excited to announce that our business is expanding, and we are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our growing team!
Positions Available:
• Qualified Carpenter
• 2IC (Second-in-Charge)
• Apprentice Carpenter (preferably 3rd or 4th year)
Our projects include high-end architectural builds, heritage repairs, extensions, insurance work, and more. The work is diverse and ever-changing, ranging from first and second fix carpentry to decks, pergolas, cladding, renovations, and extensions. Most projects are located in Adelaide’s CBD, with occasional jobs in the Adelaide Hills, coastal towns, and riverside locations.
Note: If you’re a Qualified Carpenter looking to take the next step into a leadership role as 2IC, we offer the opportunity and support to grow into this position.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Carpenter:
• Trade qualified in carpentry with residential construction experience.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and dependable.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Exceptional craftsmanship with a focus on quality and detail.
• Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
• Own basic hand tools and a complete cordless kit (specialty tools provided).
• White Card and knowledge of OHSE/site safety requirements.
2IC (Second-in-Charge):
• Oversee other carpenters on-site.
• Delegate tasks and maintain project productivity.
• Lead by example with quality workmanship.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and timelines.
• Ensure high-quality finishes and efficient use of time.
Apprentice Carpenter:
• Preferably in your 3rd or 4th year of apprenticeship.
• A passion for learning and commitment to the carpentry trade.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Basic knowledge of tools, safety procedures, and carpentry techniques.
• Must be enrolled in a Certificate III in Carpentry and hold a White Card.
