Jaytex recently had the pleasure of welcoming a group of local high‑school teachers on a site visit to the Kent Town Monde project, which is fast approaching practical completion.

The visit was facilitated by CITB South Australia, South Australia’s industry‑led organisation dedicated to supporting the building and construction workforce through leadership in training and skills development.

Led by Director Eddie Bampton, the site visit offered a behind‑the‑scenes look at a day in the life of a thriving industry, equipping teachers with valuable insights to share with the next generation of industry leaders.

Project Award!

Jaytex are thrilled to announce we've been selected by Government of South Australia, SA Housing Trust to deliver the refurbishment of Drew Court Walk Up Flats in Oaklands Park - one of the largest public housing properties in South Australia.

Funded by the Commonwealth Government through the Social Housing Accelerator Payment, the $19M project includes refurbishment of 93 units and surrounding landscaping. Importantly, this project forms part of a broader commitment to easing housing affordability in South Australia by improving access to high‑quality, secure public housing.

Jaytex are proud to be delivering this important State Government project - providing modern, safe and efficient homes for our community.

Congratulations Matthew, Eddie and Nick for completing the 72km trek through the McLaren Vale region this weekend, raising money and awareness for the Jodi Lee Foundation.

Bowel cancer is the biggest cancer killer of Australians aged 25–45, yet it’s 98% preventable with early detection. By participating in the trek, Team Jaytex helped raise critical awareness both in the community and within our industry, encouraging your people to “Trust Their Gut” and take symptoms seriously.

A brilliant show of resilience, teamwork and purpose out on the trail over the weekend & we're extremely proud of Team Jaytex for showing up for an incredibly important cause.

Yesterday, the Kent Town Team got together to recognise the consistent teamwork displayed by all trades, with stand out mentions to Michael (Mykhaylo Karyy) from Ambex and Raymond (JhengHao Hong) from Sino Ceilings who received a Building Together award.

Jaytex Director Eddie Bampton recently attended the Master Builders Charity Golf event at Mt Osmond Golf Course.

MBA & industry members came together to raise funds for MBA's RISE program - a free mental health support resource for south Australians in building & construction.

Unfortunately, Eddie didn’t make the hole-in-one and drive home in a new Hilux, but he did walk away with a strong sense of community & connection with Adelaide industry.

It was wonderful to see the Parap Preschool community come together to celebrate the opening of their new facility, proudly constructed by Jaytex.

Students and families added their own personal touch to the space, contributing to a colourful mural led by Jason Lee, and enjoyed some fantastic raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses, including Jaytex.

Our team are proud to be participating in The Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation's The JLF Trek & Trail Run this May - raising funds for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related death in Australia.

The Jodi Lee Bowel Cancer Foundation is a national bowel cancer prevention charity, reaching millions of Australians each year with their initiatives and education programs designed to help save lives.

The JLF Trek & Trail Run is more than a two-day trek - it’s a mission. Eddie, Nick and Matthew are walking for those we’ve lost, for those fighting, and for a future where bowel cancer doesn't claim lives. Every step, and every stride, helps save lives through prevention and early detection.
