Our Sturdie Secure Technologies team has recently completed certification in Avigilon Unity, further strengthening our capability across advanced CCTV and security solutions.

With AI-powered analytics and an easy-to-use platform, Avigilon Unity provides flexible and scalable security management for commercial and government environments.

This certification means our team is well equipped to support clients upgrading from older Avigilon or IndigoVision systems, as well as organisations looking for a modern and adaptable CCTV solution.

Celebrating International Women’s Day

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who play a vital role in the success of our business, our industry, and the communities we serve.

We asked some of our amazing colleagues to share what International Women’s Day means to them and to reflect on their experiences as women working in the construction industry. Their insights remind us of the importance of progress, inclusion, and supporting one another every day.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re spotlighting the incredible women across Fredon who are shaping our industry.

Lise Perrin
Senior Customer Service Coordinator, Sturdie SA

Lise plays a key role supporting Maintenance and Reactive works for Western Australia and New Zealand clients, while also being a trusted source of support for her team. Building strong relationships with clients, peers, and management is central to her role.

Since starting her career, Lise has seen positive change for women in the industry, particularly in being taken more seriously. Roles in customer service were once viewed as “helpers” rather than leaders, and she feels humbled by the recognition she has received over her 10 years at Sturdie.

For Lise, “balancing the scales” also means balancing care for others with care for herself. While she naturally supports those around her, she recognises the importance of protecting her own wellbeing and managing emotional fatigue.

Celebrating her 10 years of service was a proud milestone, reflecting the trust, friendships, and support she has built along the way. She challenges the assumption that women’s roles come naturally, believing success is developed through experience, resilience, and judgment.

Her advice to young women entering the industry: don’t confuse kindness with passivity, you can be warm and still be firm.

Sturdie Trade Services has taken out the top prize in the DAS Rewards Program, winning a Ducati Panigale V2S!

The competition followed the SecTech Roadshow 2025, and attracted over 18,000 entries over six months. Entries were earned through business engagement, and while unexpected, this win is a reflection of the strong partnership Sturdie has built with Dicker Data Access & Surveillance (DAS).

A huge thank you to DAS for their ongoing support, and congratulations to the entire Sturdie team on this exciting achievement!
