Who likes a Before & After?
The Stained Glass sidelights and fanlights of this front door are what really saved the whole place from demolition. But renovations have to be done right. Each window pane had hairline cracks or loose glass and all of them had to be repaired. The door leaf itself, and all the architraves were not original and all had to be completely replaced with something more authentic to the period. The door leaf is a traditional “brick bat door” in western red cedar, which is such a lovely colour we just had to stain it to even it out and clear coat it. We did the architraves in Off-Black to resonate with the black outlines of lead in the stained glass.
So thoroughly delighted with the results!

In 2024 Green is the New Black.  We are totally over the over-abuse of WHITE.
White on White is DEAD.  Cream & White is WORSE.  We need a Colour Revolution.
So when we say we are Greenies we are not virtue signally we are just loving green.  This is going to be our starting point.
