Nigel and the Xtreme Team want to send out a massive THANK YOU to anyone who sent him and his team supporting words of encouragement, shared our post, donated and or joined in, in the HeartKids ‘Two Feet & A HeartBeat’ 2025 walk! It was a huge hit - we were able to raise a tremendous amount of $9,800!!! We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all!!!

Any donations will go directly to HeartKids - towards families in need; assisting them during vulnerable times to afford even basic essentials, accommodation, hospital costs, support visits/services, emergency care, travel etc.

Also another big THANK YOU to HeartKids for being a generous charity and hosting such wonderful events that advocate and support all those with a CoHD and families affected by CoHD. It was an honour for Xtreme to be apart of the ‘Two Feet & A HeartBeat’ 2025 walk and the first ‘Big Heart Lunch.’

At Xtreme we love using our passion and connection to HeartKids to make a difference and help in any way possible! Once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Get behind Nigel from Xtreme Concrete and support him in the HeartKids ‘Two Feet & a Heartbeat’ walk, to honour Brave hearts! 🩶

The walk is in honour of more than 250,000 Children and Adults living with Congenital-Onset Heart Disease - the 4km walk, symbolises the 4 lives lost to CoHD each week, in Australia & the 8km walk, represents the 8 babies born with CoHD every day, in Australia.

The event is held annually all over Australia and anyone is welcome to join either as a team or individually.
Alternatively you can help by sharing the event with friends, family and colleagues or kindly showing your support to a team or person participating in the event, by a monetary donation which goes directly to Heartkids.

Nigel along with his family have joined up and will be walking this October in the ‘Two Feet & a Heartbeat’ walk in honour of his Xtremely brave and inspirational daughter, Abbey (now 21).

Abbey was born with CoHD, her condition requiring lifesaving surgery in Melbourne within the first few days of life, without this surgery she would not be with us today. She survived the odds after enduring 7 major heart surgeries; 3 out 7 of them being open heart surgeries. Due to her condition not having a cure she never knows when the next surgery will be or if that feeling in her heart is normal/needs checking, will the next cardiologist appointment be bad news or not - these unique and scary challenges are just some of smaller things Abbey (and her family) has to live with for the rest of her life. So, if you have met Abbey or ever got the chance to meet her (in the Xtreme Office) you would never know she has any of these challenges or what she has been through in her young life, she lives life to the fullest, making the most of everyday! And throughout all this Heartkids SA has been a constant support to Nigel and his family from day one, in so many ways and without Heartkids things would have been a lot tougher!
These kids are some of the toughest, most inspiring people you will meet!
