**ANNOUNCMENT**
Nick Eleftheriadis is retiring after 50 successful years at the helm of Nick’s Crane Services, handing the reigns of his great legacy over to leading and respected crane hire company Load 28.
Coming with essentially empty suitcases from a small village located in Northern Greece, Nick started driving cranes at the tender age of 13 years in the mid 1950’s, claiming he was 17 years old and had a driver’s license. He never looked back after that and launched Nick’s Crane Services in 1974.
Over the past 50 years, Nick alongside his two daughters Sophie and Desi Eleftheriadis have built the business to be one of the most reputable and esteemed crane hire companies in South Australia.
Servicing South Australia for over 50 years and building an ultimate legacy, Nick has decided he wanted to spend time with his most valuable asset; his family, he wanted to retire.
Although rather difficult, Nick’s decision to retire has been made easier by the knowledge that his business will continue to thrive under family-owned and operated business, Load 28 Crane Hire Group, and its respected team.
The acquisition has taken effect from July 1st, 2022, this means Nick’s Crane Services’ customers will benefit from the added advantage of expanded service capabilities, with the Load 28 fleet now boasting 28 cranes of all sizes. No job is too big or too small for the team.
There will be no immediate changes to Nick’s Crane Services phone number or email, however banking details will change. The business will be managed by Tom Rigney, who’s details will be provided in the coming weeks.
Nick extends his gratitude and appreciation to his many loyal customers who have supported him, the business and his family over the years and looks forward to seeing his cranes and legacy continuing to work hard on building and construction sites throughout South Australia.
We wish, Marcus Rigney, Tom Rigney, Fiona Rigney and the Team at Load28 and Nick's Crane Services all the very best for the future!
