MONARTO SAFARI LODGE

We are excited to introduce Australia’s newest luxury safari experience, Monarto Safari Lodge.

Located near the Monarto Safari Resort & Zoo, the Lodge is overlooking its own waterhole and features reception, bar, outdoor dining area, boutique restaurant experience, pool and private plunge pools, in addition to personal buggy transfers to 20 safari tents. Opening April 2026.

Located in the Monarto Safari Resort, the day spa and bathhouse offering is the jewel in the crown of the Resort creating a luxurious experience with single and double treatment rooms, sauna, magnesium bath, and cold plunge pool that overlook the African grassed savannah while wildlife roam.

A material design narrative was created from deconstructing familiar textures to working with local ceramists and metalsmith to create bespoke lighting.

Design inspiration was drawn from Vietnamese Chef Ben Phan’s family and their humbled beginnings back in Vietnam; a time where simple materials were used in practical ways. The space needed to reflect new energy, culinary maturity and familiarity all at the same time to create cultural connection.
