The Penney name has been synonymous with quality painting services for the past 40 years. Paint Professionals’ Managing Director Martin Penney began painting alongside his father Ron as a 10 year old, when his father operated under the name of Penney’s Painting. In the late 1970s in the United Kingdom, Ron Penney had been handpicked to paint Broadlands, the former home of Lord Montgomery Mountbatt

Very proud to have professionalized the painting industry.

My father asked me not to be a painter as he said no one respects painters.
15 years later he congratulated me for achieving the opposite.

At year 25 PPG (worlds largest paint manufacturer) approached us to purchase the world’s first Professional Painters estimating software built by us: PaintPad. We sold it to them.

Now, after 30 years, Paint Professionals is about to revolutionize the Painting Industry once again.
We play a long game.

Change needs to be carefully thought out and meticulously planned.

Who would ever think the world’s painting industry would be pivoted from a tiny city in Australia?

There’s a lot of great operators today and we’re proud to be a part of them. Simply put, we’re just doing our bit to transform a profession not one that is respected by all.

We blame the epoxy suppliers who sell this stuff and who claim that you can do these jobs in one day and drive on it the next day.

They’re full of it! Anyone that claims no primer required or get it all done in one day are just corner cutters and thieves and robbers that are wanting to sell at the cheapest price and then they walk away from every warranty.

2. Top apprentice been with us for 16 years and now our Senior Suoervisor with a Certifacate iv in Buikding and Construction.
3. First South Australian professional painting company to professionalise painting.
4. Built world’s first globally acquired painter’s estimating program.
5. Licensed for “Commercial Fit out”
6. Just wrote our next 20 year plan.
7. About to embark on the next market shaking paradigm shifts.
