At our Meadows project, we faced a challenge: a home with 50-year-old concrete tiles and a leaky flat metal roof over an old storage area. The client initially wanted a like-for-like replacement, but I proposed a structural solution instead.

Utilizing our in-house carpenters and roofers, we removed the flat roof, installed dwarf walls to raise the height, and extended the main ridge line out by three meters. This architectural shift brought the storage space under the main roof, setting the stage for a new master bedroom and ensuite that will add roughly $150,000 in value.

Working section by section, we stripped the old tiles, secured blue metal battens, and laid down thick roofing blankets for insulation and bushfire protection. Adhering to our motto, "watertight every night," we carefully waterproofed daily, delivering a modern Woodland Grey Colorbond roof in about 7 days.
