Yesterday we did the last pour at our Eastwood project for Andrew Edwards Landscaping and Carpentry.
Back path and steps off the alfresco, path down the side of the house and a path at the front connecting to the driveway.

Quick little project in Pitt Town a couple of weeks ago. Extend the existing driveway to give better access into the new shed/garage. Path between existing house and new shed/garage. Path at the back of new shed/garage for clothes line and back roller door access. Saw cuts following the diamond pattern of the existing driveway. Now it will sit for a few weeks and then Daniel from DecoCrete Concrete Resurfacing will come in and colour seal it all including the existing driveway making it look like it was all in one.
Thanks to Daniel Corti for the recommendation to the customer. Thanks to the crew for smashing it out and thanks again to the boys from Macquarie Concrete Pumping.

3rd stage at our Eastwood project for Andrew Edwards Landscaping and Carpentry. 1 more to go in a couple of weeks time.
Council sections covered in this stage, new layback, vehicular crossing and footpath. (The mesh was laid out, tied and chaired before pouring)

Eastwood second stage, Andrew Edwards Landscaping and Carpentry.
Driveway, Blue gum poured yesterday just under 60m2. Drop edge with hob on top due to height difference between garage slab and existing land. Hob requested by home owner (self confessed bad driver) to hopefully prevent her from driving off the edge.

Concord project update, after a couple of periods of rain and a round of sickness for myself we finally got the pool sprayed and surrounds poured. Big thanks to the crew for continuing while I was off sick. Thanks to Daz and his team for spraying and cutting and thanks to Ben and his crew from Macquarie Concrete Pumping.

Concord project.
Pool extension excavation completed, started with a 3.5 x 4.5 m pool now 3.5 x 6m 1.7 deep. A bit of lost formwork had to be put in as behind it is a sewer line, stormwater line, gas lines and hot and cold water lines that will be connected to an outdoor kitchen. Base reinforcement is in start the walls on Monday.

New project at Concord.
Pool (will be bigger than what’s on plan), cabana and retaining wall (small change in stair location rotated 90 degrees).
A few days of excavation 160 tonne of spoil removed so far (probably a couple more truck loads once the pool extension is excavated next week). A few days forming, tying steel and pouring piers and footings got us to pouring the cabana slab and small retaining wall today. Next week we work on the pool.
