So excited. The benchtops went in today. Lauren Adele Design got us onto Adriatic Stone. What a great company. Measured last Tuesday, in on Wednesday. Great communication and $$$$ off Geelong benchtop manufacturers. Can’t recommend highly enough

So our amazing team Stephen, Jack and Adam have blitzed the last 6 days. Stunning timber floor done. Stairs to go. Hurley Plumbing and Splitpoint Electrics have worked their magic. Gas fire in place. Going to be tiled soon. Cabinets in Monday.

Half way through Day 4. Day 2 was chiseling up floor tiles and grinding down cement. Whole of day 3 was spent planing straightening and reinforcing floor so it will be completely flat! Cost difference between us and cowboys very obvious now !
Flooring is looking outstanding!

Does anyone else despair at the state of the current Australian architecture. I know we have to be energy wise etc and most of us can’t build mansions, but where is the beauty. I am hopeful that we are turning a corner and bringing looks and practicality together

Thinking about our own personal renovation and notice dark hues are very popular. How would this blend with our “seaside” location. I’m thinking contrasts with light timber flooring and white walls. What do you think.
